This Tarzana property received a complete backyard transformation from top to bottom. The existing outdoor space was dated, underutilized, and disconnected — and the Upfront Remodeling team rebuilt it into a resort-style retreat designed for everyday living and entertaining.
The centerpiece of the project is a freeform pool with a built-in Baja shelf, fresh plaster, new blue tile waterline, and a resurfaced coping. Surrounding the pool, the team installed an expansive new paver deck with a warm two-tone pattern that extends across the full width of the yard. A custom white pergola with a louvered roof shade system anchors the covered patio, providing a stylish outdoor living room with a full seating area.
The lawn was regraded and resodded with lush green turf that curves naturally around the paver perimeter. A new retaining wall along the rear of the property cleaned up the grade change, and raised planter beds with decomposed granite pathways complete a practical garden zone on the side yard.
